Big real estate brokerage firms are big because they’re good at retaining old Agents and recruiting new ones; it’s rarely about how well their Agents market and sell properties. Yes, there are probably talented agents at the big firms. But one could easily assume that if a brokerage company is four times larger than another brokerage company, they should sell four times as many properties. In most cases, that’s not true.
It is rather more about what we as real estate agents do for their clients and what we are independently willing to spend on the marketing to present your home to the public.
