Century Row is part of Elm Street Communities' 50-acre Century development. A cluster of about two dozen buildings houses 188 homes built by Pulte Homes at Century Row - 160 townhomes and 28 condominiums. A total of four townhouse models are available: Burton, Frankton, Jayton, and Saratoga, the smallest, and Lafayette, the largest. A condo is two stories, while a townhouse is three or four.
The Germantown Town Center is half a mile from Century Row, bounded by Interstate 270 and Century Boulevard. It was developed as a Fairchild Industries campus in the 1960s. The site included office buildings and an abandoned airfield runway. There is a difference in price between Century Row and the District, but the distance is still wide enough to be convenient for work and fun. The place looks nice. In terms of price, it is relatively inexpensive but has an upgraded feel.
Neighborhood amenities: The Germantown Town Center includes dining, shopping, and entertainment options, including the Regal theater. Shoppers can choose from Safeway, Wegmans, Target, Walmart, Home Depot and Topgolf.
Among the outdoor recreation options in the area are Seneca Creek State Park, Hoyles Mill Conservation Park, Black Hill Regional Park, Great Seneca Stream Valley Park, and Ridge Road Recreational Park.
Schools: Waters Landing Elementary, Martin Luther King Jr. Middle, Seneca Valley High.
Transit: Interstate 270 is half a mile away. Shady Grove Metro station is on the Red line and is served by express buses from the Germantown Transit Center.
