At Claude Moore Park, various hiking trails, fishing ponds, picnic pavilions, baseball fields, softball fields, and rectangular fields exist. Additionally, Claude Moore Park features the Claude Moore Recreation Center, which hosts state-of-the-art fitness facilities, an indoor jogging track, an indoor competition pool, an indoor recreation pool with a waterslide, a rock climbing wall, and a preschool.
Local golf courses are a favorite among golf enthusiasts. There are currently three golf courses in Sterling, including Algonkian Golf Course, Sterling Park Golf Club, and 1757 Golf Club.
